UPU Battles Worldwide Illegal Stamp Scourge The Universal Postal Union (UPU), based in Berne, Switzerland, over the past few years has been alerting its member postal administrations and the philatelic press to various items being sold to an unsuspecting public as legitimately issued postage stamps. The UPU efforts have gone generally unreported within stamp collecting, while the trade in illegal stamps continues to grow. AskPhil will post these notices as they are released by the UPU. This list will be expanded as new information becomes available. New bulletins will be added to the top of the list. Click on the link in the "Date & Circ.
